Boeing 737-800 with TRI

Full-motion simulator

The chassis of the simulator is produced by Moog; a leading manufacturer in the field of professional Full-Motion simulators. The cockpit is an exact replica built with equipment from Flyengravity. Naturally, the Boeing has dual control. This allows the TRI instructor to fully assume the role of co-pilot. The full-motion simulator is not certified. This means that you can not or do not have to register the hours that you make. As a result, training is considerably cheaper than on a certified simulator.

Type Rating Instructor

The session includes briefing and debriefing. The instructor can assess your flight well and give useful tips. Our instructors have experience with gradings from various major airlines, including:

• KLM
• Transavia
• Emirates
• Ryanair

They know exactly what a society expects of you. We have a database with grading information from all major airlines. With the invitation for the grading you received documentation from the company. This includes what they expect from you, what you have to prepare and what the grading program looks like. Take this documentation with you to your training session. In the preflight briefing you take the training program through, so that this is exactly tailored to your grading.

Approach of Failure trianing

In consultation with the instructor you fill in the training according to your own wishes. The simulator can simulate more than 80 failures such as:

• engine fire
• cargo fire
• doors open in flight

Or you train a specific approach; there can be flown at more than 20,000 airports. Train for example:

• approach and landings at Paro International Airport in Bhutan
• landings on Skiathos
• fly to Atlanta at rush hour
• depart from Innsbruck with low-hanging clouds

Target audience

This training is intended for (frozen) ATPL and CPL pilots who:

• want to make a number of flight hours on the Boeing 737-800 or other variants
• CRM and procedure training are required under the supervision of a TRI
