Dit was briljant. Mijn zoon (13 jaar) is geïnteresseerd in vliegen en vond deze optie voor een f16 flight simulator. We kwamen iets te laat aan (files) en de instructeur stond helemaal klaar. Het vliegen is zeer uitdagend, complex en full on maar de instructeur is buitengewoon kundig, ervaren en professioneel (hij was dan ook 30 jaar lang piloot en traint momenteel de fighter jet pilots). We kozen voor 90 minuten en dat lijkt me ook het meest relevant voor deze ervaring. Ik kon meekijken hoe er werd gevlogen, instructies werden gegeven en vluchten werden uitgevoerd. Volgens mijn zoon was dit de beste ervaring van het jaar / jaren.

This was brilliant. My son (13 years old) is interested in flying and found this option for an f16 flight simulator. We arrived a little late (traffic jams) and the instructor was all set. The flying is very challenging, complex and full on but the instructor is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and professional (he was then a pilot for 30 years and currently trains fighter jet pilots). We opted for 90 minutes and that also seems to me the most relevant for this experience. I was able to watch how flights were flown, instructions given and flights executed. According to my son, this was the best experience of the year/years.

Het was een geweldige ervaring om eens zelf "in control" te zijn. Na de start zei de instructeur "you'r in control"
Dit was het moment om nooit meer te vergeten. De instructeur was de rust zelve en gaf een veilig gevoel. Ik heb heel veel gevlogen, maar als passagier en kan zo'n les aan iedereen aanbevelen.
- Op gegeven moment gaf de instructeur de opdracht om 80° naar rechts te draaien maar dat ging niet snel genoeg, dus, de instructeur nam de stick over en draaide een scherpe bocht zoals je alleen maar ziet tijdens de Red Bull Air Race World Championship.😅 Geweldig
It was a great experience to be "in control" yourself for once. After take-off, the instructor said "you're in control".
This was the moment to never forget. The instructor was calm and gave a safe feeling. I have flown a lot, but as a passenger and can recommend such a lesson to anyone.
- At one point, the instructor gave the order to turn 80° to the right but that wasn't going fast enough, so, the instructor took over the stick and turned a sharp turn like you only see during the Red Bull Air Race World Championship.😅 Awesome

Echt een super gave dag gehad met Edwin. Iemand uit de praktijk en super flexibel. Hij wilde ons echt een super leuke ervaring geven en zijn liefde voor het vak als piloot straalde er alle uren vanaf. Echt een topper.

Really had a super cool day with Edwin. Someone from the field and super flexible. He really wanted to give us a super fun experience and his love for the profession as a pilot shone from all hours. Really a topper.

Een uitstekende goeie vlucht gehad iets anders dan je weer op de grond staat

Het was een onvergetelijke belevenis.

Ik had onlangs mijn eerste drone-vliegles met Rodney, en het was geweldig. Ik begon enthousiast en vertrok met veel meer zelfvertrouwen. Rodney is een uitstekende instructeur: vriendelijk, deskundig en benaderbaar.
De les begon met een gesprek over mijn ervaring en doelen, wat de toon zette voor een gepersonaliseerde sessie. Ik leerde essentiële vaardigheden zoals veilig landen, soepel opstijgen en gecontroleerd vliegen. Het hoogtepunt was de drone naar grote hoogte brengen en het prachtige uitzicht bewonderen.
Rodney's lesmethode was goed georganiseerd, beginnend met basisveiligheidsprocedures en weersomstandigheden, en eindigend met vrije vlucht oefeningen en veilige landingen. Zijn vriendelijkheid en vermogen om te begeleiden zonder over te nemen, maakte het leerproces leuk en effectief. Zijn praktische tips hielpen bij problemen, zoals het omgaan met omgekeerde vliegcontrole.
Ik zou Rodney zeker aanbevelen aan iedereen die wil leren drone vliegen. Zijn ontspannen en deskundige aanpak maakte de les zowel informatief als leuk.

I recently had my first drone flying lesson with Rodney, and it was great. I started enthusiastically and left feeling much more confident. Rodney is an excellent instructor: friendly, knowledgeable and approachable.
The lesson started with a conversation about my experience and goals, which set the tone for a personalised session. I learned essential skills such as safe landing, smooth take-off and controlled flight. The highlight was taking the drone to high altitude and admiring the beautiful view.
Rodney's teaching method was well organised, starting with basic safety procedures and weather conditions, and ending with free flight exercises and safe landings. His friendliness and ability to guide without taking over made the learning process fun and effective. His practical tips helped with problems, such as dealing with reverse flight control.
I would definitely recommend Rodney to anyone who wants to learn drone flying. His relaxed and knowledgeable approach made the lesson both informative and fun.
- Two particularly good moments were when Rodney gave me practical tips on mastering reverse flight control, which made flying much easier, and when we used my own drone together, which gave me more confidence in my own equipment.

Als cadeau gegeven aan mijn broer die dit op zijn verlanglijstje had staan. Ik was met mijn broer en mijn moeder, en de hond was mee. De twee vluchten mochten aan elkaar geplakt worden waardoor hij 1x opsteeg en 40 minuten kon zweven. Hij heeft het als super gaaf ervaren. Wij hebben vanaf de grond genoten van het weer en hem gevolgd met de website glidertracker.org.

- Het is jammer dat de vluchten zo snel vol geboekt zijn.
Given as a gift to my brother who had this on his wish list. I was with my brother and my mother, and the dog was along. The two flights were allowed to be glued together, allowing him to take off once and soar for 40 minutes. He experienced it as super cool. We enjoyed the weather from the ground and followed him with the website glidertracker.org.

Heel gaaf. Goeie instructeur, vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
- Door de wisselende weersomstandigheden was de 1e vlucht wat kort, waarop hij zelf aanbood nogmaals te gaan. En heel veel info tijdens de vlucht, heel erg mooi om eens mee te maken.
Very cool. Good instructor, friendly and helpful. Due to the changing weather conditions, the first flight was a bit short, after which he himself offered to go again. And lots of information during the flight, very nice to experience.

In het algemeen was het een mooie ervaring. Jammer dat wij niet wisten dat je lang van te voren aanwezig moest zijn. in de brief stond 15 minuten voordien. De start is erg pittig maar daarna is het genieten

- Geef aan dat je eerder dan 15 minuten voordien aanwezig moet zijn. dat was voor mijn kinderen leuker geweest.
Overall, it was a nice experience. Too bad we did not know that you had to be present long in advance. the letter said 15 minutes before. The start is very brisk but after that it is enjoyable

Ik vond het echt supergeweldig. Ik heb thuis een sim maar beweegt niet. En deze combinatie is echt top. Wat ook erg fijn is om genoemd te worden is de duidelijke uitleg van de instructeur. Theo bedankt. Mijn drive is weer helemaal zoals het moet zijn. Graag tot de volgende keer.
- Wat was er niet leuk aan? Van het bakje koffie tot het afscheid gewoon geweldig.
- Ik ben vergeten foto’s te maken. Maar de indruk is blijvend.
I thought it was really super awesome. I have a sim at home but does not move. And this combination is really top notch. What is also very nice to be mentioned is the clear explanations from the instructor. Theo thanks. My drive is completely as it should be again. See you next time.

Amazing learning opportunity for a medium plane nerd. Great instructions, and in no way judgemental service even if I came in thinking I had everything under control (4000 sim hours at home), and struggling with some details here and there. Perfect.
