F16 simulator Boxmeer

Flying in an F16 is not for everyone. Very few pilots have ever had the chance to fly in a Lockheed F16 Fighting Falcon or other fighter jet themselves. But we have good news for you!

F16 pilot for a day

You can now experience for yourself what it is like to fly in an F16 in this lifelike flight simulator. The large screen around you and the completely reconstructed cockpit make you feel like a real F16 pilot for a day. All buttons and instruments are there and are in 1 to 1 scale. Not only that, everything works. And the simulator is equipped with "shakers". These transmit the vibrations you would normally feel when flying and taxiing to the sticks. The G-suit (suit) you get to wear inflates so we can also simulate the huge G forces you would experience during a real flight.

Location

You'll find this fantastic flight simulator in Boxmeer, in the easternmost tip of North Brabant. For the pilots and flight enthusiasts among us: that's between Vliegbasis Volkel (EHVK) and Niederrhein/Weeze (EDLV).

What will you do?

You will receive a briefing on the basics of flying in an F16. In this briefing, the instructor will answer the most important questions: what are all the buttons, lights and other instruments for? Of course, you can also ask all your questions yourself. If you bring someone with you, they can of course also attend the introduction. Then you both know what you will experience 'in the air'. You don't have to pay extra for this.

This explanation takes about 10 minutes.

Practice

Next, you get into the simulator. You will of course get all the explanations on how to operate the stick, throttle and pedals. We start off simple, of course. Depending on your own wishes and any previous knowledge, we can make it more exciting. All at your own pace, of course. You don't need any previous knowledge. You can fly in this F16 from the age of 12!

Length

Unlike many of our other packages, the maximum height is a bit lower. Please pay attention to this. You can fit up to about 1.95m in the cockpit. Some flexibility with boarding is also desirable.

Duration of your experience

How long the flying lesson lasts is up to you. The minimum is 60 minutes. But the longer, the more fun of course!
