Cessna 172 Simulator Gouda

Have you always wanted to know what it's like to be at the wheel of a Cessna 172? Now you can with this full-motion flight simulator of the Cessna. Full-motion means that the cockpit moves with you: turns and tilts. This makes it seem as if you are really flying. The nice thing about a flight simulator is that you are not really flying. So it is also very suitable if you are less able to walk, if you want to fly yourself economically or perhaps if you have a fear of flying. The experience is very close to what it is like to fly yourself in a 172. It also gives you the chance to try out everything that is not possible in a real aircraft. Like flying in extreme weather.

Full-motion simulator

The cockpit is not only an exact copy, all buttons and instruments work like in real life. And the cockpit also moves with you. It's not for nothing that real pilots are trained in this simulator. This flight simulator is a very special one. It is a so-called Redbird FMX, the only one in the Netherlands.

Theory

You start with an extensive explanation of the basics of flying. The instructor will answer the most important questions: what are all the buttons, lights and other instruments for? Of course you can also ask all your questions. If you bring someone with you, he or she may of course attend the introduction. Then you both know what you will experience 'in the air'. You do not have to pay extra for this.

The theory part always takes about 20 minutes, regardless of the time you choose for the practical part.

Practice

Then you get into the simulator and fly to an airport of your choice. Perhaps you would like to simulate a technical malfunction? Everything is possible. Normally this simulator is used to train pilots for their Private Pilot Licence (PPL) or Instrument Rating (IR). Now you know how that feels!

You choose how long the practical part takes. The minimum is 20 minutes. But the longer, the more fun of course!
