Heel leuk. Goeie en duidelijke uitleg en genoeg tijd en aandacht.

Een ontzettend leuke dag op Terlet waarbij ik een goed beeld heb gekregen van hoe een dag vliegen er uit ziet. De dag begon met het meehelpen de vliegtuigen op het veld te rollen en eindigde ruim 9 uur later met het parkeren in de hangar. Helaas was de wind/thermiek niet optimaal waardoor de vluchten niet heel lang waren, maar ik heb het gevoel alle onderdelen op het veld te hebben gezien. Van de lier tot het aanhaken, het terugslepen en de coördinatie van het starten overal was ik welkom en vertelden mensen enthousiast over hun rol. De kers op de taart was een stukje zelf te mogen sturen, een prachtige ervaring!

- Toen mijn vrouw en kinderen even kwamen kijken werden ze echt betrokken.
- De relatief korte vluchten werden gecompenseerd met maar liefst 5 starts, ondanks dat veel leden met minder naar huis gingen. Dank! - Er is echt niets op het veld (stond ook keurig in de info vooraf) dus voldoende eten en drinken meenemen is echt een must. Helaas dus ook geen vers bakkie koffie ;-)
An incredibly fun day at Terlet where I got a good idea of what a day of flying looks like. The day started with helping to roll the aircraft onto the field and ended over 9 hours later with parking in the hangar. Unfortunately, the wind/thermals were not optimal so the flights were not very long, but I feel I got to see all the parts on the field. From the winch to hitching, towing back and coordinating takeoffs everywhere I was welcomed and people enthusiastically told me about their roles. The icing on the cake was getting to steer a bit myself, a wonderful experience!

- The relatively short flights were compensated with no less than 5 starts, despite many members going home with less. Thanks! - There is really nothing on the field (was also nicely stated in the info beforehand) so bringing enough food and drink is really a must. So unfortunately no fresh cup of coffee either ;-)

De piloot heeft alle tijd genomen om mijn (vele) vragen te beantwoorden. Ik heb nu veel meer kennis en vertrouwen om te gaan vliegen.
The pilot took all the time to answer my (many) questions. I now have much more knowledge and confidence to fly.

Fantastische ervaring! Ludo nam alle tijd om e.e.a. goed uit te leggen. Was duidelijk in zijn info en prettig in contact. Jammer dat de thermiek beperkt was, had graag langer in de lucht willen blijven. Mooie uitzichten!
- Prachtige plek en gebied Fijn dat er ook een restaurant is om onder het genot van een drankje nog even te blijven kijken.
- Het terugbrengen van de toeschouwers vanaf het startgebied naar de landingsplaats die elders was op dat moment had beter georganiseerd kunnen zijn. Mijn toeschouwers moederen dit zelf regelen.
Fantastic experience! Ludo took all the time he needed to explain things properly. Was clear in his information and pleasant in contact. Too bad the thermals were limited, would have liked to stay in the air longer. Beautiful views!
- Beautiful place and area Nice that there is also a restaurant to stay and watch while enjoying a drink.
- The return of spectators from the take-off area to the landing area which was elsewhere at the time could have been better organised. My spectators mothers arranged this themselves.

We hebben een prachtige vlucht gehad. Mijn man kreeg les en ik mocht mee. Een mooie ervaring. Vooraf duidelijke en interessante uitleg. Onderweg werd er veel verteld en was het heel leerzaam.

Erg leuk om een proefles te doen. Soepel en snel, dus je bent zo in de lucht aan het sturen :)

Ik had de vliegangstsessie geboekt, omdat ik al jaren met een hoop angst het vliegtuig in stap
Ik ben zeer tevreden over deze sessie. Theo legde alles van opstijgen tot landen stap voor stap aan mij uit en wist precies te benoemen waarom ik zo bang was voor vliegen.
De combinatie van een theoretisch verhaal met een modelvliegtuig en de beleving in de simulator heeft er bij mij voor gezorgd dat ik inzicht kreeg in mijn angsten en mezelf realiseerde dat de angsten die ik had niet realistisch waren. Ik weet zeker dat ik de volgende keer een stuk rustiger het vliegtuig in stap
- Theo gaf nuttige handvatten en adviezen die ik in kan zetten zodra ik het vliegtuig in stap bij mijn eerstvolgende reis. Tussendoor was er ook ruimte voor een beetje humor, wat het luchtiger maakte

I had booked the fear of flying session because I have been getting on the plane for years with a lot of anxiety
I am very satisfied with this session. Theo explained everything from take-off to landing to me step by step and knew exactly why I was so afraid of flying.
The combination of a theoretical story with a model aircraft and the experience in the simulator made me understand my fears and realise that the fears I had were not realistic. I am sure that next time I will step into the plane a lot calmer
- Theo gave useful tools and advice that I can use as soon as I step into the plane on my next trip. In between there was also room for a bit of humour, which made it more light-hearted

Het was een geweldige ervaring! Hele vriendelijke instructeur die echt de tijd neemt om alles uit te leggen. Als je wensen hebt om ergens over heen te vliegen bespreekt hij dat met je. Al met al een top ervaring die ik iedereen zou aanraden!
( als je snel misselijk wordt, en je gaat achterin het vliegtuig zitten. Zal ik aanraden om een reispilletje van te voren in te nemen )

It was a great experience! Very friendly instructor who really takes the time to explain everything. If you have wishes to fly over something he discusses it with you. All in all, a top experience that I would recommend to anyone!
( If you get nauseous easily, and you sit in the back of the plane. I will recommend taking a travel pill beforehand )

Echt super leuk!!! Ook de 'piloot' was open en enthousiast wat het een leuke ervaring maakte.
- Dat ik zelf een stukje mocht 'sturen' toen we in de lucht waren en daarmee het vliegtuig op snelheid moest houden terwijl ik een bocht moest draaien.
- Of het kan weet ik niet, maar ik zou ook wel graag ietsje meer zelf hebben gedaan. Je krijgt er een boekje bij met de theorie. Het is dat juist leuk die theorie in de praktijk te proberen/ervaren (rolroer/richtingsroer/flaps/sturen tijdens taxiën/ etc...). Voor mij is de techniek achter het kunnen vliegen dé reden om dit te doen (en lees dus braaf het boekje ook en zo). Ervaren is wellicht dan een leuke bekrachtiging.
Really super fun!!! Even the 'pilot' was open and enthusiastic, which made it a fun experience.
- I was allowed to 'steer' a bit myself when we were in the air and thus had to keep the plane up to speed while making a turn. You get a booklet with the theory. It is fun to try out/experience the theory in practice (aileron/directional rudder/flaps/steering during taxiing/etc...). For me, the technique behind being able to fly is the reason to do it (and so I read the book and so on). Experiencing might then be a nice endorsement.
